The Red Sea
has been a major dive destination for European divers since many years. At first, America
and Australia paid little attention to this outstanding dive destination because it was
thought to be not worthwile such a long flight. But continuous word by mouth propaganda
amongst divers finally pushed the Red Sea forward and by today, Egypt has gained international
recognition as one of the best and most flourishing marine environments on earth. The Red
Sea still is an ocean of mysteries and surprizes. New dive sites and wrecks are discovered
frequently here, and the marine life is very rich in contrast and colors. Some mystic
example is the island Sarbagad with it's left open Olivinmines dating back to 1.600 b.C.,
the small Rocky Island with it's huge population of sea swallows, the Brother Islands,
which emerge like needles from the unreachable depths of the ocean and the breathtaking
scenery of the Daedalus Reef, which was to be visited only by a mere handful of divers
since it was discovered.

Within only a few years Thailand
changed it's reputation from a hot insider tip for backpackers to one of the world's most
popular travel destinations for young and old alike. Thailand, it's nature, culture and
the kindness of the Thai people enchants everyone who ever sets his feet on Thai soil.
Thailand gained international recognition amongst divers around 1990 as one of the world's
best dive destinations!
Burma's Mergui Archipel
consists of over 800 islands, which are scattered within an area of over 14.000 square
kilometres. The 'Port of Mergui' was an important centre and connection point to pirates
in the 17th century. All trading ships had to pass this maingate and often fell victim to
vicious attacks and plundering. The Mergui Archipel seem to have passed our computerized
civilisation without any attention to it. One feels to be pushed back in time and is
almost awaiting Captain Hook behind each rocky corner of an island. Here you will find
untouched reefs, sharks, big fish, such as whale sharks and manta rays, mammals plus a
never ending variety of stone and soft coral. White, deserted beaches on remote tropical
islands are waiting to be explored by you!
NEW! Indonesia: SS Adelaar
The Komodo
Archipel in Indonesa stretches over 30 miles in either direction, meeting Sumbawa
in western - and Flores in eastern direction. The southern border is naturally provided by
the Indian Ocean. The Pacific Ocean stretches up north. The aquatic world in this area
impresses the diver with a boundless variety of marine life. Countless islands fill the
whole area like a carefully quilted green pattern on a tourquoise satin robe. The clear water of Indonesia's tropical islands is enriched by colorful stone
coral reefs, which then plunge to over 700 metres of depth only a few meters away from
shore and thus provide some of the most spectacular wall diving on this globe! The steep
walls are covered with amazingly colorful sponges and soft coral in a quantity that will
mindboggle even the most experienced diver. Experience huge schools of baracuda and
pelagics, which emerge from the deep like a mysterious cloud of life to soon shoot out
into the endless blue in lightning speed to make place for the big guys - sharks and
plancton feeders... Indonesia is definitely a dive destination not to be missed!
