Liveaboards BURMA

Burma -now called Myanmar- offers many great dive sites in the Mergui Archipelago - Burma Banks, Black and Twin Rock and the Torres Strait to just name a few.
Only a handful of liveaboards have the permission to offer Myanmar liveaboard dive safaris - so you can enjoy peaceful and remote pristine dive sites away from the crowds... Some liveaboard diving trips depart in Thailand and include diving at Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and worldfamous Richelieu Rock - and some trips offer "Burma only" , cruising sometimes far up north to the Mergui Archipelago.

Divers have the chance to enjoy encounters with sharks (silver tip, nurse sharks, grey reef sharks and sometimes even whale sharks), tunas, mackerels, jack fish, manta and eagle rays, morays, snappers ... the underwater scenery consists of a mix of soft and hard corals.
It is a great adventure to join these scuba safari cruises, not only for diving - you will see unexplored islands and tropical animals. There are reports over wild tiger and elephants in this region.
